Outside of box has a rustic wood appearance and matte feel. Hinged lid opens to show a holder underneath for your own 6×4 photo. Inner compartment is 8 7/8×8 7/8×4, allowing box to hold a variety of small items. Overall outer box size, with lid closed, is 9 3/8×9 3/8×5. Box is MDF wood.
